Our Mission

At 1st Step Recovery, our mission is to provide compassionate, client-centered care that empowers individuals to overcome addiction and build fulfilling lives in recovery. Through evidence-based treatment, and a supportive environment, we guide each client on their unique journey to lasting wellness and resilience.

Who We Serve

• Men and women (housed separately)
• 18 years and older
• Kentucky Medicaid only
• No violent crimes or sex offenses

Program Requirements

• Daily Treatment Classes (Mon-Fri)
• • Morning (9:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
• • Evening (5:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
• Attend 5 AA/NA meetings per week
• Submit to random drug screenings
• Complete daily chores and obligations

• Peer Support & Job Application Assistance
• In-House AA/NA Meetings & Big Book Study
• Access to Medication & Dental Services

Free Laundry Facilities

DOC-Approved Facility

Participants on probation or parole may qualify for good time credit upon successful completion.
